دعوة لتقديم طلبات المشاركة في المخيم الصيفيّ لكتاب الزيتون بنسخته السّادسة (2024)

يسعدنا أن نعلن عن فتح باب التّسجيل في المخيم الصيفي للكتابة الإبداعية لكتاب الزيتون بنسخته السّادسة، والذي ينظم بالشراكة مع مؤسسة فريدريش ناومان للحرية ومركز الفنون الأميركي في الدار البيضاء.

نبذة عن البرنامج:

المخيّم الصيفيّ هو فرصة للكُتّاب الشباب من جميع أنحاء المغرب، لقضاء أسبوعِ إقامة أدبيّة وفنيّة مكثفة تهدف إلى تنمية مهاراتهم الكتابيّة، في الدار البيضاء مجانًا، وهي فرصةٌ أيضًا لبناء العلاقات بين الشّبان المبدعين. المشاركون في المخيّم سيحضرون ورشاتِ عملٍ يوميّة للكتابة الإبداعية (تُقدم باللغتين العربيّة والإنجليزيّة) كُلن على حدة، وسيحضرون أيضًا محاضراتٍ لكتاب ومفكرين مشهورين، ويطوّرون مهاراتهم الشّخصيّة ويتعلمون عن التّرجمة الأدبيّة وصناعة النّشر. نقصد هنا أنّهم سيستطيعون صقلَ مشروعهم الإبداعيّ الخاص، ويصبحون جزءًا من مجتمعٍ ديناميكيّ متفاعلٍ ومحفّزٍ على الإبداع.

اخترنا هذا العام أنْ يكونَ مخيّمنا السّنويّ تحتَ عنوان «نساءٌ يكتبنَ حياتَنا»، واخترنا أنْ نفكّر سويًا ومن داخل الكتابة بالأثر، الذي يُرى ولا يزول، للنّساء (أمهاتٍ وأخواتٍ وصديقاتٍ ومعلّمات وغيرهنّ) في نحتِ وتشكيل وكتابة فصولِ حياتنا، ورؤيتنا للعالم والكون. وحينَ اخترنا هذا العنوان، لم يكن هدفنا إطلاقًا تسليط الضّوء على نساءٍ برزنَ كملهاتٍ ومؤثّراتٍ في شتّى المجالات وطنيًا ودوليًا، على أهميّة هذا، بلْ أردنا بالتّحديد أنْ يفكّر كلُّ واحدٍ منّا، وضمنَ مجالِهِ الشّخصيّ والخاصّ، بالنّساء اللواتي ألهمنه، وأنْ يستحضِر أصواتهنّ وكلماتهنّ ووجودَهنَّ البسيطَ والمؤسِّس في آنٍ معًا لتأثيثِ نصّه الإبداعيّ، وهذا امتنانًا وتخليدًا لدورهنّ في الزّمن الصّعب. كما أنّنا أردنا أن نقدّم رؤية خاصّة، لا تستحضرُ «الأدب النّسويّ» أو الأدب الذي تكتبُهُ النّساء، على أهميّته أيضًا، بل نريدُ أنْ يكونَ تركيزُنا على الأدبِ الذي يحتفي بالنساء ويرومُ كتابتهنّ والكتابة عنهنّ، متخلصًا من أيّ صورةٍ نمطيّة أو أنساقٍ غيرَ واعية، بحيثُ نبدو وكأنّنا نكتُبُ ما كَتَبَنا من قبلُ، ونخلِّد تلكَ الآثار المقيمة فينا أبدًا. 

التاريخ والمكان:

سيقام البرنامج بين 16 و22  يوليو في مركز الفنون الأميركيّ بالدار البيضاء.

مَن يمكنه التّقدم لهذا البرنامَج؟

•     الكتاب الشّغوفون والمهتمّون بتطوير مهاراتهم في الكتابة الإبداعية.
•     أيّ شخص يتراوح عمره بين 18 و25 عاماً.
•     يجب أن تكون قادراً على المشاركة في البرنامج لمدة أسبوع كامل.
•     الطلاب الأجانب الذين يدرسون في المغرب.

مواد التقديم: 

      أكمل نموذج الطلب، المتوفر باللغتين. يُرجى تجهيز المواد التالية، حيث سيُطلب منك إرفاقها بطلبك:

•        أنموذجٌ من كتابتك الإبداعيّة – صفحة واحدة أو 400 كلمة كحد أقصى من النّثر و/ أو الشّعر، إمّا باللغة العربيّة أو الإنجليزيّة. و(إنّك بإرفاقك لهذا الملف تقرّ أنّ المادّة المرفقة هي من إبداعك الشخصيّ).
•     المُهمّة الكتابيّة – بحدود صفحة واحدة أو 400 كلمة كحد أقصى ردًا على طلب الكتابة التالي: “اكتب رسالة إلى المرأة التي كان لها التأثير الأكبر في حياتك، واصفًا دورها في تَشَكّلكَ الشخصيّ والطرق الجميلة التي ألهمتك بها لتصبح ما أنتَ عليه.”
•      صورة شخصية.
•     خطاب توصية (اختياريّ).

إرشادات التقديم:

•   يجب عليك ملء استمارة الطلب (أدناه) بلغة النصوص الكتابية التي تقدمت بها.
•   آخر موعِد لاستقبال الطّلبات يوم الأربعاء 19 يونيو 2024 (منتصف الليل) GMT + 1.
•   يجب أن تكون جميع الملفات التي يتم تحميلها على google doc معنونة بهذه الصيغة: «الاسم الكامل للمشارك – مدينة المشارك».
•   يرجى ملاحظة أن نموذج الكتابة ومهمة الكتابة هما عملان منفصلان. تتجاوز عدد الصفحات في كل منهما. 
•   لن يتم التّسامح إطلاقًا مع الانتحال. جميع الطلبات المقدمة سيتمّ فحصها تلقائيًا بحثًا عن الانتحال، وسيتمّ استبعاد الطلبات التي يتبيّن أنّها تحتوي على أيّة مواد مسروقة دون إخطار مقدّم الطلب. إذا لم تكن متأكدًا مما يعتبر سرقةً أدبيّة، فلا تتردّد في التّواصل معنا على (theolivewriters@gmail.com)، وبمجرّد إرسالك للملفّ فأنت تقرّ أنّ كلّ المواد المقدّمة هي من إبداعك الخاصّ.

معلومات إضافية:

•     هذه فرصة ممولة بالكامل حيث سيتمّ توفير الرّسوم الدراسيّة والفندق والمأكل مجانًا لجميع المشاركين المقبولين.
•     يجب على المشاركين تغطية تكاليف التنقل من وإلى الدار البيضاء.
•     سيتم منح شهادات إتمام البرنامج للمشاركين في نهاية البرنامج.

Call for Applications: Olive Writers Summer Camp 2024 (6th Edition)

We are very thrilled to open registration for the sixth edition of the Olive Writers Creative Writing Summer Camp, organized in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom and the American Arts Center in Casablanca.

About the program: 

The Camp brings young writers from across Morocco together to spend a week at an intensive writing residency in Casablanca. Participants will attend daily creative writing workshops (offered in Arabic or English), attend lectures by renowned writers and intellectuals, develop their soft skills and learn about cultural management, journalism, and the publishing industry, revise and refine a creative project of their own, and become part of a dynamic community of fellow writers.

This year’s theme is “Women Writing Our Lives’. We all know inspirational women who have broken barriers, who have inspired us to try to do the impossible and reach for the stars. And while some of these women are famous, we can find many more right in our own communities – our mothers, sisters, friends, teachers, and other community leaders who influence us to reach our full potential and lead by their example. During the camp, participants will embark on a journey to write the stories of the women who have profoundly impacted their lives. Through daily creative writing workshops, they will learn various narrative techniques and storytelling methods to vividly bring these inspirational figures to life on the page. Lectures by renowned writers and intellectuals will provide additional insights and perspectives, enriching the participants’ understanding of how to craft compelling and authentic narratives.

The Camp will culminate in a reading event where participants will have the opportunity to present their stories, which will later on be published in a collective anthology. 

Dates & Venue: 

The program will take place between the 16th and 22th of July at the American Arts Center Casablanca. 

Eligibility: 

• Passionate writers who are interested in developing their creative writing skills.
• Anyone between the ages of 18-25.
• You must be able to participate in the full week program.
• International students in Morocco are eligible to apply.

Application Materials: 

• Complete the application form , available in two languages. Please prepare the following materials, as you will be requested to attach them to your application:

• Writing sample — 1 page or 400  words maximum of original creative prose and/or poetry, written in either Arabic or English

• Writing assignment — 1 page or 400  words maximum in response to the following writing prompt: ‘Write a letter to the woman who has had the most significant influence, describing her role in your personal growth and the beautiful ways she has inspired you to become your best self.

• A photo of yourself.

• Optional — One Letter of Recommendation

Application Guidelines:

• You must fill out the application form (below) in the language of your writing materials.
• All application materials must be received no later than 12:00 (midnight) GMT +1 on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024.
• All files uploaded to the google doc should be titled following this format: “Participant’s Full Name-Participant’s City”.
• Please note that the writing sample and the writing assignment are two separate things. Don’t exceed the number of pages in each. 
• Plagiarism will not be tolerated. All submissions will be automatically screened for plagiarism. Applications that are found to contain any plagiarized material will be disqualified without notification to the applicant. If you are unsure what constitutes plagiarism, please contact us at theolivewriters@gmail.com 

Additional information:

• This is a fully-funded opportunity: Accomodation, tuition, and meals, refreshments, and course materials are provided free of charge to all accepted participants.
• Participants have to cover their own transportation from and to Casablanca. 
• Certificates of completion will be given to the participants at the end of the program.
