يسعدُنا جدًا أن نعلن عن إطلاق النّسخة الأولى من مسابقة صلامينا: أصداء التّغيير، والتي تهدف إلى منح فضاءٍ خصبٍ وإتاحة الفرصة للشّباب من منطقة الشّرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا للتّواصل مع بعضهم البعض والنموّ والتحدّث عن التحدّيات التي يواجهونها.
انطلاقًا من قناعةٍ راسخةٍ بأنّ الشّباب هم قادة التّغيير في العالم، تستضيف مسابقة “صلامينا: أصداء التّغيير” في دورتها الأولى؛ 16 مشاركًا ومشاركةً ينحدرون من منطقة الشّرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، ويتّخذون من فنّ الصّلام وسيلة للتّعبير، ومشاركة أفكارهم، وتجاربهم، وربما حلولهم المقترحة فيما يتعلّق بالقضايا الملحّة التي يواجهها الشّباب، مسلّطةً الضّوء على صراعاتهم وطُموحاتهم في المنطقة.
في “صلامينا: أصداء التّغيير”، لن يكتفي المشاركون بعرض مواهبهم الشّعرية فحسب، بل سيحظون أيضًا بفرصةٍ قيّمةٍ بحيث يستفيدون من التّوجيه والإرشاد طيلة مدّة البرنامج، والذي يقدّمه مدرّبون محترفون وشخصيّات بارزة في السّاحة الفنيّة والثقافيّة. سيقدم مدرّبونا تأطيرًا محكمًا حول كيفيّة بناء القطع المؤثّرة التي تتيح نقلًا جيّدًا وجردًا دقيقًا للتحدّيات التي يواجهها الشّباب في المنطقة.
تُنظَّم المسابقة من قبل مؤسّسة فريدريش نومان – منطقة الشّرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، بالشّراكة مع جمعيّة كتّاب الزّيتون، والمركز الأمريكيّ للفنون بالدّار البيضاء.
التّاريخ والمكان:
- سيتمّ عقد جلسة عن بعد يوم 14 سبتمبر (شتنبر/ أيلول) 2024.
- تُقام فعاليّات البرنامج (بما فيها المسابقة) في المدّة القائمة بين 23 و27 أكتوبر (تشرين أول) 2024، في المركز الأمريكي للفنون بالدّار البيضاء.
من يمكنه التقديم؟
- المسابقة مفتوحةٌ للأفراد الذين لديهم شغفٌ بفنّ الصّلام، بوصفه أداةً تقود إلى التّغيير الاجتماعي وتسهمُ في التّصدي للتحدّيات التي تواجه الشّباب في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا. وبشكل خاص، فإن الفعاليّة مفتوحة لفنّاني الصّلام المنحدرين من منطقة الشّرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، والذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 18 و35 عامًا، والذين يكتبون باللّغة العربيّة الفصحى أو الإنجليزيّة.
- أن يكون المشارك متاحًا لحضور جلسة عن بعد يوم 14 سبتمبر (شتنبر/ أيلول)، وأن يحضر فعاليّات البرنامج خلال الفترة الممتدّة من 23 إلى 24 أكتوبر (تشرين أول)
- أن يكون المشارك قادرًا على إنتاج أعمال إبداعية أصلية من أجل المسابقة، باللّغة الإنجليزيّة أو العربيّة.
- أن يكون المشارك قادرًا على الحضور إلى المغرب خلال الفترة الممتدّة بين 23 أكتوبر (تشرين أول) و27 أكتوبر (تشرين أول) 2024.
كيفية التقديم (آخر موعد للتقدّم: 25 غشت 2024):
- يرجى إكمال نموذج الطّلب عبر الإنترنت (من هنا)، والذي يتضمّن السّيرة الذاتية (يرجى إبراز خبرتك في مجال فنّ الصّلام).
- قم بتحميل فيديو يعرض إلقاءً لعملك الإبداعيّ إلى النموذج، على أن لا تتجاوز مدّته دقيقتين (50 ميجابايت). يجب أن تكون جميع مقاطع الفيديو معنونةً على الشّكل التّالي: الاسم الكامل للمشارك – بلد المشارك.
- ملف يتضمَن نصَ القصيدة التي قدَمتها أعلاه، إضافة إلى أي نصوص شعرية أخرى تود مشاركتها (يرجى أن يكون العمل الإبداعيّ من كتابة المشارك، غير منسوخٍ أو مستعارٍ ولو جزئيًّا).
- يرجى إرفاق الرّوابط والملفّات التي تعرض أعمالًا ذات صلة بفنّ الصّلام (على سبيل المثال: مقاطع فيديو، مقالات، شهادات، رسائل التوصية).
التّحفيزات:
- جائزة نقديّة للفائز(ة).
- هذه فرصةٌ مموّلةٌ بالكامل، بحيثُ يتمّ توفير الإقامة، وتذاكر الرّحلات الجويّة، والرّسوم الدّراسيّة، والوجبات، مجانًا لجميع المشاركين المقبولين.
- سيتم منح دروع التميّز وشهادات إتمام الدّورة للمشاركين خلال حفلٍ ختاميّ يُنظّم نهاية البرنامج.
- سيتمّ تنظيم ورشات عملٍ تخصّ تقنيّات الكتابة الإبداعيّة ومهارات الإلقاء، يستفيد منها المشاركون خلال البرنامج.
- التدريب والإشراف المخصصين طيلة فترة البرنامج، على يد خبراء متخصّصين.

“SlaMena: Echoes of Change” Competition

We are very excited to launch the inaugural edition of the SlaMena Competition! The project aims to give a space and platform to youth from the MENA region to connect, grow, and speak up about the challenges they are facing.
Stemming from a strong conviction that youth is the vehicle of change in the world, the SlaMena Competition will showcase 16 slam poets from the MENA region to share their ideas, experiences, and perhaps solutions concerning the pressing issues faced by youth in the area, illuminating their struggles and aspirations.
At the competition, participants will showcase their poetic talents and have the invaluable opportunity for mentorship and guidance by established figures in the slam poetry scene. Our instructors will guide the participants in crafting impactful pieces that effectively convey the challenges faced by youth in the region.
The competition is organized by FNF MENA, in partnership with the Olive Writers Association, and the American Arts Center in Casablanca.
Dates & Venue:
- The online session will take place on the 14th of September 2024.
- The competition activities will be held at the American Arts Center in Casablanca, between the 23rd and 27th of October 2024.
Who can apply?
SlaMena welcomes applications from individuals, who are passionate about using slam poetry as a tool for social change and are committed to addressing the challenges facing youth in the MENA region. Specifically, the event is open to:
- Slam poets from the MENA region who are between 18 and 35 years old who write slam poetry in either Standard Arabic or English.
- Slam poets who are available to attend the online session on the 14th of September and the in-person competition activities between the 23rd and the 27th of October.
- Ability to produce original poetry slam pieces in English or Arabic for the competition.
- Willingness and ability to travel to Morocco from 23rd October to 27th October 2024.
How to apply?
- Complete the online application form (click: here) including your resume (CV) highlighting your relevant experience in slam poetry.
- Upload to the application form, a slam poetry performance of up to 2min (50M). All videos should be titled: Participant’s Full Name – Participant’s Country.
- A document with the text of the application poem you submitted above and any other poetry texts you would like to share (Please ensure that the creative work submitted is entirely original, written by the participant, and not copied or plagiarized, even in part).
- Any relevant portfolio or work samples (videos, articles, testimonials, recommendation letters).
Benefits and Prizes:
- Cash Prize for the competition winner.
- This is a fully-funded opportunity: Accommodation, flights, tuition, meals, refreshments, and course materials are provided free of charge, to all accepted participants.
- Trophies of excellence and certificates of completion will be awarded to participants during a closing ceremony at the end of the program.
- Workshops on creative writing techniques and performance skills, among many others, will be organized for participants during the program.
- Dedicated coaching and monitoring throughout the program, provided by experts.
